Studios announce their work and stay quiet about their people, which is the wrong way round. The work is the consequence. The people are the reason it came out the way it did.
Two joined this month.
Mélida Puertos, Brand Strategist, works at the front of a project. Discovery sessions, interviews, competitive audits, positioning, brand architecture, naming. What she produces is the brief, which here is a contract rather than a suggestion. It is the document the design answers to at every review, and strategy that cannot be pointed at during a review is not strategy.
Daniela de la Fuente, Brand Designer, takes it from there. The mark, the typefaces, the colour, the layout system, and then the guidelines and templates a client's own team will be working in long after the launch photographs have been taken. That stretch is the least photogenic part of the job and the one that decides whether any of it survives its first year.
Hiring is the least visible thing a studio does and the one that quietly determines everything else. A brand system is only ever worth what the next person to open the file can do with it.
We are also opening a small number of internship places for the second semester of 2026, in design and in strategy. Portfolio and a short note to [hola@arcticfever.co]. Applications close end of month.
